Joe Hunter in Australia

Joe Hunter, son of Managing Director Ian, and window fabricator from our factory, has been travelling around Australia for the last 12 months. Joe is currently working at a window manufacturer called Weatherall Windows based in Melbourne, Australia. Weatherall Windows manufacture and install Rehau uPVC windows and doors in Melbourne and the surrounding areas.

Joe has learnt a lot whilst he has been working with Weatherall and has been involved in all stages of production in their factory, including cutting, welding, routing and fabrication. He has also been out on site and laboured for their window fitting teams, gaining valuable knowledge about the installation process.

Dave O’Connell (Owner of Wetherall) like SWC’s Ian Hunter Snr and Jnr, is actively involved in the day to day running of the business to ensure all their customers receive the best possible service. And whilst there are around 10000 miles between our companies, we both share the same values regarding product quality, reliability and excellent customer service.

Joe has learned a lot from Dave and the team, which will help him progress his career here at SWC when he returns to the UK. Both Joe and everybody at Sheffield Window Centre are grateful that Weatherall Windows have given Joe the opportunity to work with them whilst he’s been in Australia and we wish them every success in the future.
