Back in 2013 we took one of our uPVC doors to Yale’s in-house testing laboratory in Wolverhampton, to test it against the PAS 23/24 standards for strength and security. Not only did the door pass with flying colours, it also did not break or twist and actually still opened and closed normally afterwards!
In May we decided to update and repeat these tests to ensure that we are still manufacturing to the same high standard. This time, in addition to our uPVC doors, a wider range of products including windows and composite doors were tested to the PAS24:2012 enhanced security standard.
Experienced staff from Yale used various methods of attack, based on common methods of burglary, to examine the security of each product. Each item passed this robust test in line with requirements for Secured by Design standards set by the Police.
These tests confirm that our products are extremely strong and very difficult for potential burglars to break into. We can say with confidence that they are currently some of the most secure on the market.
We pride ourselves on manufacturing our products to the very highest standards. The reason that we are able to consistently manufacture to this standard, is our continual investment in state-of-the-art machinery. We use the best available products and materials and enforce strict quality control standards, so that you can have complete confidence in your purchase
