The opening sashes are hung on Maximum SECURITY friction stays. These have a locking peg on them which engages when the sash is closed to further prevent unauthorised entry. Special hinges can also be specified that will allow the casement sash to be opened wider in the event of emergency to allow easy access.
We mainly bead and glaze all our products internally at no extra charge, whilst retaining the option of external beading (with the glass uniquely bonded in place) when required. Internal beading means that it is impossible to remove the glass from the outside by levering out the beads holding it in place.
