Many of
the cheaper companies go out of business or simply keep changing
names. These tend to be the types who are after a ‘quick turnover’
and will probably have disappeared when service or warranty work
is required.
| On
the other hand, companies spending thousands on radio and TV
advertising tend to be the most expensive, simply because they
need to pass the cost of such adverts on to the end user…not
because their product is any better. These types of operators
also tend to adopt a ‘hire and fire’ policy with
fitters, to cope with the peaks and troughs associated with
targeted marketing. |
 |
|
| Consequently,
they have little or no knowledge of an individual’s skill
levels. Most of our fitters were already with SWC when we joined
it and know what is expected of them.
We have found our niche in the market and
will be around for years to come. After all, this is a family
business and SWC is our children’s future. In fact,
son Ian has now joined the company as Senior Business Manager,
allowing me to concentrate on production and quality.

|
| We apply
the latest technology and have just invested in over £200,000
of new machinery. But we only sell in the old-fashioned way…by
dealing honestly and honourably in the same way that we like
to buy things ourselves (or should I say as Mrs H does).
No hassle, no pressure and overall the best
value around for your money – and that’s a promise!
