There have been significant advances in the performance of uPVC windows and doors in the past couple of years, and replacement not only cuts carbon emissions from your home, but will also cut your heating bills.

Sheffield Window Centre only produce windows that are Energy Rated, and compared to original single glazed windows installing one of ours can more than halve the heat lost through your windows. We offer A, B or C rated - depending on your budget, all of which will reduce the heat loss from your home. In the case of an A rated window, it can even positively add heat to your property.

Whilst glass is the single most important factor in window energy efficiency, coupled with uPVC frames it is substantially enhanced and becomes far more thermally efficient than alternative materials.

To find out how much you can actually save on your energy bills by installing Energy Efficient Windows, please follow this link to the Glass and Glazing Federation!

Our energy efficient products are registered with the Energy Saving Recommended scheme, which is an initiative from the Energy Saving Trust backed by the Government.

If you see the Energy Saving Recommended logo you can be sure that the product is particularly energy efficient. For more information about the Energy Saving Recommended scheme, see the Energy Saving Trust's website, click here.

In addition to offering the very latest energy efficient products, we have also recently achieved ISO14001 accreditation, which means that we are one of only a few companies in our industry to have an effective Environmental Management System in place. This demonstrates that we are committed to keeping our impact on the environment to an absolute minimum, by recycling materials wherever possible - something we believe is very important, and shows that as a company we really do care about the environment.
